7th arrondissement. Paris. France
Exquisite 150-square-metre Parisian Apartment located in a late Haussmann building in the coveted 7th arrondissement – right between two Paris landmarks: the Eiffel Tower and the Musée d’Orsay.
Every room was shaped with circular movement in mind, to ensure a sense of flow and connection between spaces.
Olga Ashby: “The inspiration for this project stems from the fluidity and effortless elegance of Parisian life, with a contemporary twist. The space gives you a pure hedonistic experience when the idea of hosting friends in your house is much more appealing than going out”
Olga Ashby: “Paris has always had an elegant mix of beige and grey on the fronts of the buildings and I thought it could well be suited for the living room. For the rest of the apartment, I chose muted earthy tones, including rich browns, dimmed red and a bit of strong orange and yellow. While avoiding striking contrasts and bold hues, we have sprinkled a bit of colour on the walls in the hallway with the vivid blue artwork ‘Majorelle’ by Natalie Katwal.”
