After purchasing the property in 2012, Paltrow tapped interiors firm Windsor Smith to upgrade the abode with design details and features more aligned with her personal style.

The original charm of the existing structure is there, but it’s been lovingly elevated with reclaimed wood floors, moldings, patterned stonework, French doors, and vaulted ceilings.

The single-story house contains eight bedrooms and 11 baths, ideal for a large family.  There are many cozy places to enjoy, including the bright, open-plan sitting room that wouldn’t look out of place in a chic Parisian apartment. The vibe is cozy yet elegant—with soaring ceilings, vintage light fixtures, and French doors that lead outside.

The heart of the home is the vaulted living room, which features light-wood wall paneling and folding pocket doors that open to the backyard.
