This 13,500 square foot Santa Barbara Spanish Revival style home was designed to be a comfortable family home on a spectacular lot overlooking the Pacific. The view through the unique front garden entry portico facing the street to the carved stone entry provides the first glimpse through the house to the ocean beyond.
Oatman Architects strives to design homes with unique indoor/outdoor spaces such as this unexpected basement level walkout patio to provide a peaceful and private outdoor social space while bringing in light and air to the lower-level family room, wine room, theater and gym.
The poolside covered loggia and terrace off the main level family room overlooking the ocean is the perfect spot for relaxation and entertainment with an uninterrupted 180-degree view of the Pacific, Catalina Island and the evening sunset.
Imagine being able to step out from this gorgeous kitchen while cooking dinner, into your oceanview herb and vegetable garden just outside the door.
