A stately prewar Manhattan apartment with sweeping views of the Frick Collection’s manicured gardens. A complete apartment renovation – one that would emphasize elegance, modernity, and a personalized lifestyle, all within the walls of this quintessential New York residence.
In a Fifth Avenue apartment, works by Le Corbusier and Hans Hofmann greet guests in the entry hall, paired with consoles and a chandelier by Hervé Van der Straeten.
A Fifth Avenue dining room embraces its limited natural light with dark graphite Venetian plaster and a cove-lit ceiling that enhances the room’s height. By embracing the subdued lighting, the space transforms into a moody, intimate setting perfect for dinner.
This meticulous apartment renovation results in a sophisticated, layered home that merges architectural clarity with artistic depth – a reimagined Manhattan apartment that reflects history and contemporary living.
The thoughtful interplay of art and architecture became the theme of the entire apartment renovation. Kleinberg, known for his careful curation, balances clean lines with emotional resonance, creating a visually calm space that is never sterile.
