Jackson, Wyoming, USA
The homeowners' wishes for the designer: no antlers, no heavy log furniture—only sophisticated comfort, a sense of place, meaningful decorative details, and quality furnishings.
Designer Valerie Peña's philosophy in designing the interiors of this Jackson Hole home is one of high-quality modern comfort, a sense of confidence and warmth.
Designer Valerie Peña: her client wanted “something distinct from the typical Jackson ranch aesthetic — still connected to place but more sophisticated. No antlers. We focused on balance and warmth, refining every room to create a space that feels inviting yet elevated.”
Color plays a key role in the home's interiors. Muted blues, earthy tones, and rich browns connect the space with the surrounding landscape. Layered fabrics and soft lighting create depth, while sculptural elements introduce movement. Curves replace sharp angles, creating a comfortable and inviting space.
