The restoration of the Hotel Gabrielli was guided by key principles: honoring the genius loci of Venice, enhancing the extraordinary views over the lagoon and the Island of San Giorgio, and carefully preserving significant architectural features such as the grand entrance staircase, the mullioned windows, and the original 16th-century wooden beams still visible in several rooms.

The color palette, inspired by the tones of the lagoon and Venetian stone, combines lagoon green, deep gray, warm ivory, walnut wood, and “Picasso Green” marble, creating an atmosphere that is both refined and rooted in its surroundings.

A central role was also played by local craftsmanship: around 700 original 19th- and early 20th-century Murano glass chandeliers and wall lamps were restored and reinstalled, alongside creations by historic furnaces such as Barovier&Toso, establishing a continuous dialogue between heritage and contemporary design.

The Gabrielli Hotel, part of the prestigious Starhotels Collection, features 66 elegant rooms and 6 spacious suites, designed to offer a high standard of hospitality. This five-star hotel, covering a total area of 6,500 square metres, combines the timeless charm of Venetian architecture with the comfort and functionality of contemporary interiors.
