Driven by a desire for change and especially bored with the monochrome interiors of their home, the clients – a family of four from Los Angeles – asked designer Sandra Fox for help with reinvigorating the Pacific Palisades home.

Sandra Fox:

"Tasked with adding personality to a sterile new build, Sandra Fox Interiors worked with longtime Clients once again to create the perfect setting for both philanthropic gatherings and kid's birthday parties alike. Showcasing the Client's art collection and penchant for color and pattern, this home has since been featured in various exclusive shelter magazines across the globe, including a cover."

"We designed a previous home together, so these clients turned to me again to customise and add some cheer to the space, which has started to look dated and monotonous."

"It has been a friendly tug of war with the client, as the wife loves bold choices; colours and patterns. On the other hand, my aesthetic tends to be more about understated elegance and monochrome interiors, but together we found a beautiful balance between the two styles."

"When the guest room becomes a star of its own. We combined bold grasscloth wallpaper, elegant pieces, and custom accents to create a cozy oasis for visitors in this project."
