This gut renovation of a beach-side apartment in Bondi stripped out the faux french fixtures and archways to create a clean black & white gallery-like space to showcase the owners striking photography collection.

A Petrina Hicks photograph takes centre stage in the living room whilst in the background above the bed hangs a Narelle Autio photograph, the interior was designed around the extensive photography collection, so here art was the main event.

Autio’s photographs are best known for saturated colour, intense light, and blue waters enveloping swimmers which capture Australia’s relationship with the environment.
