Berry Drive / The Earth House
Contemporary Estate in the Hollywood Hills, California
An abandoned house built in the 30s of the last century in the Hollywood Hills of Studio City has been successfully reconstructed and updated in full accordance with modern requirements for comfort. The estate has individual access roads and is located on a plot of almost one and a half acres. The three-level, 5,050-square-foot single-family home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a partial bath, a spa and a two-car garage. Nearly every floor-to-ceiling room, including the 1,200-square-foot Grand Suite, terraces and zero-edge infinity pool offer stunning scenic views of Los Angeles, the valley and the mountains.
The bright interiors are decorated with unobtrusive modern paintings and pop art prints. The large lower level living room features oak floors, high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, a functional gourmet kitchen with a large European-style stone center island, a linear two-sided bio-ethanol fireplace and a hi-fi surround sound system. The estate has a separate guest house with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room.
