Saint-Tropez, France
A spacious six-bedroom villa built in the mid-1980s in the picturesque coastal town of Saint-Tropez in the south of France. The holiday home for a couple with a baby and a dog exudes the relaxed charm of the coast and offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Stéphanie Coutas: “I wanted to maintain the spirit of the villa but give it a new lease of life and bring it into the 21st century.”
Carefully selected from vintage finds, this buffet, inspired by the work of Paul Evans, perfectly embodies the Brutalist aesthetic. With its sculptural lines in solid oak, its brass details and this combination with mirrors from the 1960s, it is part of a composition in which authenticity has guided every choice. In this Saint-Tropez home, it anchors a refined and timeless atmosphere.
Stéphanie Coutas: “The overall vision I had for the design was to ensure that all elements of the decor were in harmony with the beautiful Mediterranean surroundings.”
