Parisian architect Luis Laplace and his partner Christophe Comoy bought and restored the historic Casa Santa Magdalena farmhouse on the Mediterranean island of Menorca, which had once been used for cheese production. They have enhanced the property’s historical character whilst preserving its unique atmosphere within a contemporary setting.

For the new owners, a home is not only their private sanctuary, but also an open invitation to those who share their love of natural beauty and art.

Luis Laplace: ‘The unique charm of the old farmhouse and the allure of its historic past struck a chord with us, inspiring the idea of transforming it into a private retreat.’

The restored Casa Santa Magdalena is filled with treasures unearthed at flea markets—it is a tribute to Mediterranean splendour, provincial life and the preservation of cultural heritage.

Casa Santa Magdalena is a harmonious blend of contemporary comfort and rustic elegance, , where you can enjoy the simplicity and beauty of Menorca.
