An international art consultant, talented ceramist and art collector from Puglia has built his summer home surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean shrubbery in the Itria Valley. The architectural design of the house, located on a two and a half hectare estate curated by his sister Francesca, was born from reinterpreting the old buildings of local peasants. Nini sought to create a place where guests could immerse themselves in the culture of Puglia and its slow lifestyle.

Nini Bonavoglia is a painter, ceramicist, art dealer and art collector. He was born in Bari, Puglia and spent his formative years here, studying abroad in Milan and Paris before working for 10 years in New York.

Niní Bonavoglia:

«I really enjoy tending plants, watching them grow, and I think it's the most authentic way to immerse myself in the energy of nature.»

Niní Bonavoglia:

“I started working with ceramics during construction. This allowed me to incorporate different personal elements of my work into the project, such as the fireplace, door handles and sculptures that inhabit each room.”

Niní Bonavoglia:

“When I’m here, I feel at peace and reconnect with myself, my passions, and all the little things that make me happy.”

Niní Bonavoglia:

“I fell in love with the location the minute I saw it. I loved the silence and the imminent sense of peace.”
