Designer Nathan Litera recently completed his Paris flat in an Haussmannian building  on the tree-lined Boulevard Courcelles.

Nathan Litera:

“I believe that when you are your own client, you can home in on what truly matters to you without compromise. It takes a lot of focus, because as designers, we have access to so much beauty, to rare materials and the best artisans. It’s easy to lose sight of what you want as a family.”

Design Miami: Nathan Litera: Il Nostro Sogno:

Upon entering the recently launched, oh-so-chic Parisian showroom of rising star architect-designer Nathan Litera, visitors encounter an installation aptly titled “Il nostro sogno” (Our Dream). The elegantly renovated apartment boasts gorgeous archways, millwork, and stone elements, and currently features a combination of  exceptional midcentury furniture by the likes of Pierre Jeanneret and Gabriella Crespi; Fontana Arte lighting by Carlo Scarpa and others; photographs and paintings by an array of voices from the French contemporary art scene, as well as luxe pieces from Litera’s own Altana collection—including velvet swivel chairs, elm burl coffee tables, and other beauties.

The architect has retained the key graces of the period architecture, but there is a sense of refinement and restraint that is quintessentially Italian in spirit. Within this sophisticated, sepia-toned setting, what really shines is Litera’s mettle as an interior architect, furniture designer and curator.

Nathan Litera:

“As an architecture student, one of my first field trips was to Rome and, since then, I’ve been enamoured by the sophistication and immaculately considered proportions of Italian buildings.”

Wife and business partner Lyatt Samama:

“In many ways, our home has become our experimentation ground. Here, we often test objects from our collection, as well as from other creatives. Sometimes, we just fall in love with something and it becomes a part of our home – and our story.”

Nathan Litera:

“My job is to remain curious. Your home should not only calm you, but also inspire you.”

  1. Чудовий смак. Стиль можна назвати luxury-мінімалізм. Це краще за міланськи інтер'єри
