Es Cubells, Ibiza, Spain
Refurbishment and renovation of a traditional manor house in the settlement of Es Cubells in the south-west of the island of Ibiza. Despite its undoubtedly privileged location overlooking the infinite horizon above the sea and the Pityusic islands, the house required a series of updates to embrace a contemporary, grounded lifestyle, appropriate to the balearic locus. The villa’s reconfiguration prioritizes flow and spatial clarity.
Spaces were rearranged to group the house's social areas harmoniously, spilling over into open-air patios.
A young couple and their family envisioned Villa Infinity as a haven for themselves and their frequent guests. Drawing from their extensive travels and real-estate experience, they aimed to create a home refl ecting their hospitable nature and appreciation for fine craftsmanship, art, and the inherent virtues of the property.
With a minimalist aesthetic and warm ambiance, every detail embodies the island's spirit with timeless elegance. Villa Infinity retains its character with an optimistic nod towards its future that blends architectural finesse with island heritage.
The central staircase was remodelled into a prominent sculptural element of the interior landscape.
In the garden, the pool defines the plot's edge, blurring the line between water and views. Various lounges and an outdoor gym are nestled inside stone enclosures or beneath pergolas, creating clusters of relaxation and togetherness.
