Rue Edgard Quinet, Saint-Ouen, France
North of Paris, close to the famous flea market of Saint-Ouen, Ariane Bromberger, founder of Studio Baha, undertakes the renovation of this atypical 50 m2 apartment. It is located on the top floor, under the roofs of a small building where light travels throughout the day.
50 m2 entièrement rénovés à Saint-Ouen
Studio Baha transformed a small, very dilapidated attic space into a beautiful, bright space, playing on associations, materials and second-hand furniture.
The living spaces consist of a living room merging with a fully custom dark oak and blue quartzite integrated kitchen. Polished concrete, oak, quartzite - natural materials are showcased in this project, counterbalancing contrasted vintage furniture. We notably find the works of Fabien Ficher and Bertrand Fompeyrine resonating together with matter and light.
A wide central corridor leads to the bedroom on one side, discreetly concealed behind a curved wardrobe, while the bathroom is at the opposite end, hidden behind another custom curved wardrobe, both adorned with a combination of matte white lacquer and dark oak.
