Wonder of humanity:

The Great Wall of China, a world heritage site and considered one of the seven wonders of the world, was built 2,600 years ago as a defensive barrier and measures 21,000 km in length.

Spending the night in one of the towers of the Great Wall of China with a 360-degree view is the prize for four people who won a competition organised by Airbnb.

Inside one of the watchtowers is a bedroom where the winners of the competition will have a unique experience.

The room was designed as if it were a luxury hotel, a beautiful suite with separate areas. Wooden furniture and natural textiles fit perfectly into this context amidst the rural scenery and Chinese nature. Every decorative element has been carefully considered to reflect the culture and traditions of the great Asian country.

The tableware in the dining area, made of traditional Chinese ceramics, adds to the authentic atmosphere of the whole interior.

The corners of this room have been designed to be comfortable and cosy. A perfect combination with a 360 degree view that its occupants will enjoy.

In the middle of the night darkness, the room is open to the sky to enjoy the clear mountain air and stars.

This project aims to promote sustainable tourism in China, where the Airbnb platform has more and more users and accommodation options, and to raise awareness of the culture and lifestyle of this vast country.
